It’s hard to believe how fast time flies. We are already halfway into 2026! Since being awarded the Theme and Variations Foundation Grant in late 2025, I have been fortunate to have a variety of fulfilling musical experiences. Highlights include a performance of Strauss’ Burleske with The Orchestra Project (conductor Fabian Russell) and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor with The Holway Collective / Tim Li Orchestra (conductor Felipe Prazeres). I’ve had a few trips to Europe, and will soon be attending the Chopin in Bohemia Festival in the Czech Republic in mid-July.
I have also recently been selected as a semi-finalist in the ABC Young Performers Awards 2026. This is a wonderful competition under the stewardship of ABC Classic, and I will be playing my semi-final recital on August 11th, in Sydney!
I’m so grateful for all the support and encouragement from all of you at the Foundation. It means a lot to be pursuing my musical passion with the good wishes of so many people.
