The Australian Chamber Orchestra is honouring Ara’s memory by naming their concert grand ‘The Ara Piano’. The instrument is one of the last Ara actually refurbished. It is a great honour and tribute to Ara. The ACO had an open rehearsal on July 26 2025 at their premises, ACO on the Pier in Walsh Bay, where they presented the piano to a select audience. Alexander Gavrylyuk performed with them on the evening.
